Lucía Jarquín is a Nicaraguan artist living in Montreal, Canada. In his artistic trajectory, Jarquín has given shape to the joint construction between Afro and contemporary dance, as well as to the teaching of jazz and Latin rhythms.

Lucia has participated in different dance festivals in Latin America, the United States and some European countries. In recent years, she has also ventured into the discipline of videodance, using movement as a form of protest, freedom and bodily expression to convey a message and raise awareness in society.
